Cruisin’ The Creek
Saturday, August 17, 2019
10:00 am — 3:00 pm
If you haven’t had a chance to cruise Sand Creek by boat, it’s a perspective that is very much worth witnessing. Not many around have had this chance in many years to do this and we invite you to be one of the few. The Sand Creek Summer Daze Festival is offering you a chance to cruise the creek on a comfortable pontoon boat, while listening to the history of Newton from experts in our area.
The Harvey County Historical Society and the Kaufman Museum are teaming up to place a historical ambassador on board each launch and give you small stories and historical references about our town and our community’s past. This cruise is open to the public with a Sand Creek Summer Daze Festival Button.
